Raise a glass to the Westons Cider website

The challenge.

To deliver on the goal of building a better brand profile and online presence.

Herefordshire based cider makers Westons remain a family owned and run business, who have grown into one of the UK’s largest cider producers.  

We were tasked with creating a new website that captured their family traditions and spirit, yet provided a modern platform for promotion of both the business and the main cider brands. 

We also needed to present the new brand, identity and consolidated values whilst ensuring the site delivered on the goal of building a better brand profile and online platform.

Our solution.

Improved product presentation, an online shop and a showcase for the pride and passion of the brand.

We restructured the existing site that we had built some 5 years previous, developing and focussing on just 5 main areas – the ciders, the passion, the pride, the craft, and the experience of visiting Westons' visitor centre.

We managed the whole process from design, copy, imagery, responsive build and incorporated a new online shop. The shop was designed and built in wooCommerce, with a 'filtered' browsing interface, to improve product presentation and to better highlight the selling features of the individual brands.

The results.

A significant improvement in online sales.

Not only of core bottled and canned product, but through a new stream of revenue from merchandise sales, event awareness and strengthened product brand promotion and engagement.
